Tirupati is one of the most spiritual rich places in India. This city is located in the state of Andhra Pradesh which is the state in the east coast of India. Tirupati is also regarded as one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites in India. It is the hometown for one of the richest God in India named as Sri Venkatachalapathi and the temple him residing his called as Shri Venkateswara Temple. This Temple is also known as Tirumala Tirupati Temple. It is the very famous temple in India. This Temple is known for its prasadam called Tirupati Laddu. He is one of the ten avatars of Hindu protecting god Shri Vishnu.
Tirupati is surrounded by many temples like Vaishnavite Temple, Padmavathi temple, Govindaraja Swamy Temple and much more. The other major tourist spots are Sri Venkateswara zoological park, Supatham Entrance, Tirumala Deer park reserve, TTK garden and small falls like Akasha Ganga, Kapila theertham, Japali Theertham etc.., and Shri Venkateswara Zoological Park is the second largest zoo park in Asia. The estimated areas covered by this zoo are nearly 5532 acres. The perfect time to visit this place is during Vaikunta Ekadasi according to Hindu mythology this day is the day when the gate to heaven is going to open and there are around 25lakhs to 30 lakhs peoples are gathered in Sri Venkateswara temple to watch this.

Tirupati is well connected by all means of transport except waterways. National Highway 140 and 71 is passing through Tirupati. The nearby railway station is Renigunta Junction which is in the line of Chennai-Mumbai railway line. The Chennai Suburban railway lines are well connected to Tirupati. Tirupati is very nearest to two other states Karnataka and Tamil Nadu so the buses such as SETC operated by Tamil Nadu government and KSRTC by Karnataka Government provides continuous bus services to Tirupati. The nearest Airport is Sri Venkateswara Airport which is upgraded to an international airport in the year 2015.
