Tirupati temple at Tirumala is easily accessible by road within just 30 minutes. The best time for darshan is on weekdays, especially on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Sarvadarshanam means “darshan for each and every one.” Sri Venkateswara temple is visited by almost 60,000 to 80,000 pilgrims every day.

TTD efficient darshan mechanism

TTD has introduced efficient rules of balaji darshan for the comfort of the mass pilgrims visiting Tirupati. On usualdays, generally 18 hours are allotted for the sarvadarshan and on the special days thistiming increases to 20 hours a day. The timing may vary for the different days throughout the week based on to the rush. Mainly it is permitted till 6 pm a day.

Tirumala Tirupati darshan tickets

Tirumala Tirupati darshan tickets are free tickets available in the temple compound for everyone. Sarvadarshan is a free darshanwhere pilgrims require waiting for their turn. These waiting compartments are situated in the Vaikuntham Queue Complex II. This complex is basically an array of inter-connected compartments en route for the main temple. For peoplewaiting here special arrangements are made:

·         Annaprasadam is offered to the pilgrims for free.

·         Coffee or tea is served to them at intervals of 3 hours.

·      If anyone of the pilgrim feels uneasy or sick he/she will immediately be served appropriate medical aids.

·         Pure filtered drinking water is available here.

·         Hygienic toilet facility is also available.

·      Huge televisions are placed in each hall and they relay devotional programs throughout the day.

There are well-behaved officers who look after the pilgrims for tirumala tirupatidarshan because of the devotional value people gather here from different states. Many of them are senior citizens. They sometimes feel sick or face other problems. 

These officers also maintain the pilgrim’s queue and address the complaints of the visiting pilgrims. People require maintaining this queue throughout the main temple to catch a glimpse of Lord Venkateswara.
